I was looking forward to this show just because Aidy Bryant is the lead. She is exceptional on Saturday Night Live and I have loved her in pretty much everything that I have seen her in. However I didn't expect to be hooked on this show in the first 10 minutes. The show is hilarious, witty, intelligent and empowering. I love the vulnerability of the character and the journey of growth that she goes on to realize her own strength. I am an emotionally connected to her relationship with her roommate and best friend to the point where I need to FaceTime my own best friend to tell him how he's changed my life. As of this post I am only on episode 3 but I can not wait to see how the show develops. I was just so taken with the show that I needed to post something now but a full review will come when I finish the season.
